Lake Virginia covers 223 acres and stands out as one of the most culturally significant and energetic lakes in the entire Winter Park system. The entire southern shoreline is famously occupied by Rollins College, the oldest recognized post-secondary institution in Florida. This unique border gives the lake a distinctive, upscale collegiate atmosphere, where residents can regularly watch the campus rowing team practicing on smooth morning waters.

The remaining perineries feature beautifully manicured custom homes, lush green spaces, and private docks. Boaters enjoy excellent depth and clarity, along with immediate access to the central navigation channels of the chain via the scenic, historic canals on the northern edge of the basin.
